Holly Qualifies for Ricoh British Open

Final Qualifying for the Ricoh British Open took place at Panmure Golf Club, close to Carnoustie.

Holly was one of 83 players, professional and amateur, who had travelled from all over the globe to compete for just 18 places in the tournament.

Holly was one of the earlier starters and posted a very steady 1 under par, consisting of 2 birdies and just one bogey, on the par 4 12th. Close to the top of the leaderboard when she finished, Holly had a four hour wait to see whether her score was good enough to get her a coveted place in the LET's major championship.

It was! Holly finished joint 8th and now looks forward to lining up at Carnoustie alongside Jee Young Lee Korea and Beth Allen from the USA.
