23 year old Holly Aitchison from Bedfordshire joined the Ladies European Tour in January 2009 after finishing in the top 20 at Qualifying School at La Manga. Holly only just made it to Q-School, after a knee injury interrupted her preparation. Just 10 weeks before the start of the competition, Holly was hobbling around on crutches, determined to make it. And she did! And she qualified! 

Holly is 5'7' tall with brown hair and blue eyes. She started playing golf at the age of 11 having been introduced to the game by father and brother. Holly represented Bedfordshire as a junior and as an adult, and won the County Championship 3 times. She earned 2 A levels in Business Studies and Music. 3 AS levels in 2006 and then became a full time amateur for three years. She held a part time job with a waterproof clothing manufacturer called Cape Crest. Holly lives in Bedford, England and is attached to Bedfordshire Golf Club.
